Pregnancy is affected by lifestyle & diet. Following a healthy lifestyle and eating a nutritious diet during pregnancy is beneficial for both mom and baby. Whether you're receiving prenatal care from an OB/GYN, family practice physician, certified nurse midwife, nurse practitioner or other health care professional, be sure to talk about what you can do to have the healthiest pregnancy possible to give your baby the best start possible.
Complications & Conditions
Prenatal care visits are the best way to check for complications and conditions that may occur during pregnancy. Be sure to tell your health care provider early in your pregnancy about any health concerns or conditions you have. Attend all prenatal visits so your care provider can regularly check your health and the health of your baby as he or she develops. Most complications or conditions can be managed if they are caught early. Whenever something doesn't seem right, call your care provider to let them know of your concern.
